NAEMT First On Scene® Class
More than first aid. The NAEMT First On Scene® course prepares you to act when lives are on the line—bridging the gap between basic first aid and professional emergency response.
Professionally developed by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC)
Course competencies include:
- Calling and coordinating with 911
- Hands-only CPR & AED use
- Naloxone administration
- Epinephrine auto-injector use
- Life-threatening bleeding control- Tourniquets & wound packing.
- Management of penetrating chest injuries
- Safe patient movement
- Proper patient positioning and stabilization
